Feel like all you do is work more than 40 hours a week at your job? You never get to see your kids before they go to bed. They should have parents flexible working hours so you can see more of your family. If your a divorced single parent, you need to know the parents rights custody because due to your job, and long hours, your ex may try to use that fact against you. Divorced parents don’t always have a good separation and unfortunately, the kids pay the price. Most single parents, either the mom or the dad, have the problem at times of the amount of hours they spend at work. The parents flexible working hours need to be worked out around their kids. There is always soccer games, or a number of things your kids are involved in, and you need to be there. The parents rights custody may help the kids. If you get along with your ex, perhaps they can help you more with the kids and all their functions. I know with the economy the way it is, you may be expected to work more than 40 hours a week. Many companies are down sizing and the ones still there, have to take up the slack and work those longer hours to get everything done. Again, the kids may not get to see as much of you as they want, they have to understand it is for them. Just be proud you have a job and able to pay all the bills, no matter what. Your kids will understand and be proud you are their parent. Hopefully your ex, will look at the parents rights custody and realize even tho your no longer married, the kids need both parents still.
